Josh O'Dell

Owner/Service Tech

I’m Josh O’Dell, the owner of O’Dell’s Heating and Air. I’ve been in the HVAC industry for 18 years, and 11 years ago, I took the leap and started O’Dell’s Heating & Air at the age of 28. I’m a residential service tech by trade, but I’ve gained a lot of experience over the years, working on residential installs, commercial service and installs, and refrigeration.

I hold our company’s Master License in HVAC. I am also a BPI-certified Building Envelope Specialist. I believe in the importance of staying educated, so I’m always continuing to learn about new ways to improve the comfort of homes and buildings.

On the personal side, I’m a proud parent to four kids. My wife Ashley & I are also foster parents and have been lucky enough to parent 9 other children for differing lengths of time. When I’m not working, you can find me at my kids’ ball games, tinkering around in the garage, playing video games, hunting, or riding ATVs.

Tom Schweska

General Manager

With over 23 years of experience in the HVAC industry, Tom Schweska has built a reputation for excellence in both technical skills and customer service. Known for his attention to detail and commitment to quality, Tom has worked on a wide range of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems, helping countless families achieve comfort in their homes.

Beyond his professional life, Tom is a proud father of six, balancing the demands of work and family with passion and dedication. His love for coaching has allowed him to mentor young athletes, instilling in them the values of teamwork, discipline, and perseverance. Whether he’s troubleshooting a complex HVAC issue or leading his team to victory on the field, Tom brings the same level of commitment and enthusiasm to every aspect of his life.

Jon Franks

Service Manager

Jon is a seasoned HVAC technician with 20 years of industry experience. He graduated from Scott Community College’s HVAC program and has since built a reputation for his expertise in handling both heating and cooling systems. Jon thrives on the challenges presented by new equipment and technologies, ensuring he stays ahead in the ever-evolving HVAC field. Known for his problem-solving skills, he can repair virtually anything hot or cold. Outside of work, Jon enjoys spending time with his 4-year-old daughter, with another daughter on the way. His hobbies include fishing, hunting, attending live music events, and playing golf.

Jeremy Stenzel

Install Manager

Jeremy Stenzel is an experienced HVAC installer with a decade of hands-on expertise. Married to his wife, Courtney, for 16 years, they share a family life centered around their two boys, Greyson and Jackson. A proud sports enthusiast, Jeremy is an avid fan of the Chicago Bears, Bulls, and Cubs. In his spare time, he enjoys playing darts and finds great joy in supporting his sons as they pursue their own athletic passions.

Alexis Sheraden

Office Manager

Meet Alexis, the office manager at O’Dell’s Heating and Air, where she ensures everything operates efficiently and effortlessly from start to finish. Currently finishing her bachelor’s degree in business administration with a focus on finance, she expertly juggles her academic and professional responsibilities.

Alexis and her Fiancé Myan are parents of three active kids: Maddox, Kingston, and Aria. When she’s not managing the office or hitting the books, you can find her chauffeuring them around or on the sidelines, cheering them on as they pursue their passion in sports.

Outside of work and school, Alexis enjoys traveling with her family, embracing the outdoors, and discovering new home projects for Myan to tackle. Whether navigating the world of business, academics, or family life, she brings enthusiasm and commitment to everything she does, making her a true asset to O’Dell’s!
